Dear Friend,

As you know, it is NAMI Evening of Hope Season, the time for our biggest fundraiser of the year!

The Evening of Hope has always been an opportunity to spend time with friends while supporting the NAMI mission of helping to build better lives for anyone affected by mental illness in our community. Unfortunately, like all of our community events since March, NAMI Northeast Region PA has made the decision to cancel this year’s Evening of Hope.

We have not, however, stopped providing the support and education programs that allow our friends and family to hold on to hope when facing their own or their loved ones mental illness.  We have adapted and are now providing our groups and programs online! (Big shout out to all of our volunteers who quickly adapted to this new way of doing things!) We believe these past 9 months have made us all even more aware of our own and our community’s mental health.

It is with this in mind that we are asking for your support of our current fundraising effort: NAMI Northeast Region and Black & Brass Coffee Roasters have collaborated to create a Stigma Free blend of coffee.  This additive free, preservative free, Stigma Free Coffee is just perfect to enjoy while spending time with someone close or when you need a break after a long morning of Zoom meetings.  Please join us as we raise a cup to all who struggle with mental health and raise funds so that NAMI can continue to provide the support, education and hope that our community needs right now!

We know it’s not the same as the Evening of Hope Basket Raffle but coffee makes a great Christmas gift for yourself, your family and your friends!  It makes great Secret Santa gifts and great Employee Christmas gifts!   Get your bag of fresh, locally roasted ground or whole bean Stigma Free Coffee for $15 a bag! You can help to raise more money for NAMI by selling to your friends and family, sell 25 bags and get your next bag free and some NAMI appreciation swag!
