Support for Individuals, Your Family, Pregnant and Postpartum Women
NAMI Northeast Region PA hosts Support Groups for individuals in mental health recovery; for family members, friends & caregivers of individuals living with mental illness; and for women while pregnant and after giving birth who have struggles or concerns with their mental health in Lackawanna, Wayne, Pike and Monroe counties. All meetings are led by experienced facilitators who have lived experience.
All meetings are free and open to anyone that has been impacted by mental illness. Monroe County meetings are bilingual, English & Spanish, as well as hybrid, online & in-person.We do our best to keep our calendar up to date but you can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram for cancellations or changes.
Support for Pregnant Women & After Delivery
Momma Bears is a free Connections Group that offers 90 minutes of education and support for women who are pregnant and/or have given birth and are experiencing mental health struggles.
Support for Individuals Living with a Mental Illness
Individuals experiencing mental health challenges, whether diagnosed or undiagnosed, you can find comfort and support from people who understand firsthand what you're going through.
Support for Family, Friends & Caregivers of Individuals Living with a Mental Illness
When you care for and/or love someone with a mental illness, you need support too. You can find a listening ear, words of hope and encouragement and support from NAMI.
To register for any support group meeting, email info@naminepa.org and please answer the following questions:

The meeting details will be sent to you by email within 1 to 3 business days.
We take your privacy concerns seriously. NAMI Northeast Region will not record virtual support group sessions; chats will not be saved; and we will not use any information you provide during group meetings in any way unless Pennsylvania law for mandated reporting dictates otherwise.
